Hundred Year Jacket
We wanted a jacket that would be a unique and beautiful piece to wear in New York over black, as well as to bring a spot of color and elegance to our long Montana winters. And this is it. This is an extraordinary hand dyed deerskin jacket that incorporates the best elements of all the historical jackets we've seen in museums and private collections spanning the last century. We love the coral (more colors to come) which is only available through hand dying, the subtle fringe and the wonderful pockets with elk horn accents. In fit it lies half way between the nipped in waist of the Gallatin Jacket and the boxy cut of the Livingston Jacket. It's already very popular with our customers!

Gallatin Jacket
We found the Gallatin Jacket with its riotous fringe and elk horn buttons in Bozeman, Montana. The original was worn in the 1930's and 1940's and must have been as much a delight to wear then as it is now. The original is in a private collection.
The Gallatin Jacket is so versatile, you can wear it with formal dresses, any of our skirts or your favorite pair of jeans!
