We call this the Laurel Skirt after the town in Montana where it was found. It is a wonderfully simple ranch and split riding skirt made in Italian Calf. It is devoid of all ornament except for the buckles on the side from the waist to the fringed hem.

This is an extremely comfortable skirt for riding, yet elegant enough to wear on a variety of occasions. The original appears to be from the 1940's.

Available options include chrome buckles or Vogt sterling silver concho buckles.

The Winsall Skirt, shown here in distressed tomato red, has a lovely fall of fringe along the sides, a fringed hem and a 6-button closure down the front. We recommend our own hand engraved Women of the Wild West buttons in sterling.
