This is our new Big Horn Jacket and Big Horn Skirt made in tropical wool with a slight stretch. The skirt hem has chamois leather fringe. The skirt pockets are bound in matching leather. The jacket has matching leather bound jacket buttonholes. The pieces are sold separately.

We find this skirt to be one of the most comfortable pieces we've ever worn. The original was worn by one of our grandmothers at the turn of the century. She would actually ride into the living room astride her favorite horse to entertain visiting foreign and domestic dignitaries including at least one US president.

Shown in Italian Linen (left), the back falls beautifully in pleats. There is a graceful matching Litchfield Jacket in linen to match the skirt. The Litchfield is lovely worn belted with one of our Vogt Belts such as the Prairie Flower Belt.

The skirt has ample room for riding and striding and yet is elegant in any setting. The buttons that close the front hide the riding skirt and can be left open for a more flowing effect (or to ride your horse).
