Ranger is a 13-year-old gentle gelding who has been a blast to own. He has good feet and bone. He has never come up lame. He's a very easy keeper. Ranger is familiar with living in stalls and out in pastures. He is a breeze to catch. The kids enjoy riding him bareback.

The side effects of leaving him off are that he gets fat and lazy, which makes it hard for younger, less experienced kids to ride him outside of the arena. He is easy to shoe and good to clip. Ranger is trail-savvy, crosses water with ease, and is sure-footed in rough terrain. Ranger has a very kind demeanor. At heart, Ranger lives with his mom and dad and drives an old Hyundai. His spirit animal is a unicorn.

He also has a pedigree full of very accomplished producers. Ranger has been used on the ranch for jobs such as branding, doctoring, moving cows, and sorting. We have won money on him at ranch rodeos and team brandings. We have hauled him to team ropings and have won money on him in both heading and heeling.

This gelding has been shown at some ranch rodeo stock horse events and peewee stock horse classes. The kids have shown him in trail courses and use him in the wintertime to pull their sleds. Ranger has been an enjoyable horse for us to own.
