Bowie—affectionately known as “Boo Boo”—has taken me on the ride of a lifetime. From small-town arenas to major rodeo grounds across the U.S. and even into Canada, he’s been my partner through it all. His list of accomplishments is long, and his heart is even bigger.

He carried me through my final year of high school rodeo, helped me compete at the collegiate level, and held his own in tough pro rodeo competitions. Along the way, he qualified for the JR Patriot in Fort Worth, SSIR, and has made appearances in multiple short rounds—always showing up when it counted.

Bowie is one of those once-in-a-lifetime horses. He’s talented, honest, and all heart. Letting him go won’t be easy, but I know he has so much more to give. I can’t wait to see the next chapter in his journey and what he’ll do for someone else lucky enough to call him theirs.
