Mike is a 5 year-old draft cross that has been raised and rode in the steep country since birth. He has been rode extensively on the ranch in a feedlot and in the arena. Mike is a fancy athletic mover with the power to boot. He lopes nice correct circles and picks up and transitions leads and gates very well. He will lay down or work a cow like a cutter, then you can go pull the barn to the neighbors on him. I have roped a ton of cattle on him, doctoring inside and outside, solo and with a partner. Dragging calves at brandings to roping fat cattle and bulls on him. He takes everything in stride and handles anything heavy with ease. He will go all day and enjoy every second of it! Mike has a personality that everyone He meets falls in love with him. Mike is best suited for just about any rider with some confidence as he is big and moves out. But has never offered to buck! I think Mike would really excel in the English world or just take him and use him as a very very nice trail or ranch horse that you can do anything on and have a smile on your face while you do it!
